Habits of Mind Home Up

What are some of the strategies we might see a teacher using if they were employing the Habits of Mind in the execution of their craft? This facet deals with teacher behaviors, and the ways teachers interact with students, that call upon the Habits of Mind.

Habits of Mind are the thinking dispositions of the most successful and intelligent people in a given field. It makes sense then that highly successful teachers will be using strategies that incorporate or reflect the use of these Habits of Mind. The examples provided are not intended to be exhaustive, but hopefully provide some clear examples of how teachers can use the Habits of Mind in their classroom practice.
