The Habits of Mind Teachers Network News Letter provides stories and examples from real teachers and classrooms. It survives on teacher contributions and is published every 4 - 8 weeks depending on the number of contributions we receive from you.
The Network News Letter is divided up into sections to help honor the our commitment to Sharing, Collaborating and Learning.
Stories from the Field
In the stories form the field section we document teachers work with the Habits of Mind. This might be as simple as a few paragraphs about something successful in your classroom, or something more substantial about a schools approach to working with the Habits of Mind. What ever the content, it will be the story of what's happening on the ground in schools and classrooms around the world.
Getting Connected
In most issues there will be a "Getting Connected" section. This section allows teachers to seek out other teachers working with similar groups, or who are wanting to collaborate in some way. None of us are alone in our teaching. There is almost always someone else out there in a similar situation that we can collaborate with and learn from.
Further Learning
Most issues will offer reviews of resources or learning opportunities that become available. We welcome teachers reviews of books, resources, products, web sites and other learning tools.
