This simply activity asks students to recognise the successful application of the Habits of Mind in their peers. Each time this is done a link is added to a chain that is hung around the room. This becomes a Chain of Thoughtfulness, and recognises the consistent application of the Habits by students in the class.
Alternative versions of this activity have included a train carage instead of links - so it becomes a train of thought. Adding petals to 16 different flowers has also been used. Many different possibilities exist.
