All the material on this site has been contributed in one way or another by a practicing teacher.

There are many ways you can contribute and help grow our collective knowledge, understanding and resources related to Habits of Mind.

Suggest an Improvement

Teachers are busy and creative people. The simplest way to contribute to the Habits of MInd Teachers Network is by suggesting features and resources that you'd like to see on this site. Perhaps it's an idea you have as you are browsing the site, or an idea for a resource. It could be anything. All suggestions will be considered and where possible acted on. Ideas that we can't immediately act on will be added to our "Wish List" in the expectation that we'll be able to achieve it sooner or later.

Habits of Mind Resource Library

The Habits of Mind Resource Library is a remarkable and growing collection of teacher generated resources. Well over 300 activities, lesson ideas, units of work and other resources have been contributed to the Library. For it's success the library relies on teachers giving back by submitting their own resources and ideas. If you've used it, and it worked in your classroom, you should contribute it to the Resource Library.

Network News Letter

Each time we publish a Network News Letter we seek to include short stories from teachers in the field. These might be an experience you've had with the Habits of Mind, a story of an activity that worked well, or anything else. Perhaps you have a student that is willing to write about their experiences with the Habits of Mind.

We also look for reviews of resource materials - perhaps your thoughts on a chapter of Art Costa's and Bena Kallick's books.

Online Courses

We are constantly seeking to enhance and expand the Online Courses. We gratefully accept ideas and suggestions for this.

Further, Mindful By Design will pay teachers who make significant contributions to the Courses. If you have insightful, powerful and practical new lesson ideas that could enhance the Online Courses please use the contact form to share your ideas.

A royalty arrangement can be made for the creation of whole new Learning Modules.
